Abstract
Electrocardiographic data compression via orthogonal transform processing is studied using canine ECG data. The Haar transform and the discrete cosine transform are considered. While the basis vectors for the Haar transform are sampled rectangular waves, those for the discrete cosine transform are sampled sinusoids. Keywords
