Abstract
An intense, frequency-dependent absorption of ultrasound in antiferromagnetic RbMn has been observed and attributed to resonant phonon coupling to the magnetic nuclei. The angular dependence at 4.3 K and the temperature dependence between 4.3 and 38 K of the absorption are reported.
