Abstract
A geophysical program of electric logging indicates the presence, under the Cantal volcanic massif (France), of a zone of volcano-tectonic trenching surrounding the principal centers of eruption. The electric logs contribute useful information on the location, form, and structures of this trench, and confirm the general homogeneity of the volcanic material, probably clastic, filling the trench.
