Abstract
An anterolateral cervical epidural abscess occurred in the course of a septicaemia caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Early diagnosis, before permanent neurological signs developed, was provided by CT scan without myelography. Total recovery occurred with antibiotic therapy alone.Keywords
