Abstract
The area of airfield air traffic control is briefly introduced, and potential increases in demands outlined. The tasks involved are described as an initial approach to the problem of developing improved systems. The various methods of information collection and organization for such tasks are discussed. Possible future developments in systems are mentioned together with their associated ergonomics aspects. Keywords
