Dispersion properties of photonic bandgap guiding fibers

Abstract
We investigate low-index core photonic crystal fibers. Dispersion properties very different from standard fibers are found. Both zero dispersion and very large dispersion is shown possible at 1550 nm wavelength.Keywords
