Abstract
This paper discusses multiple losses of aged patients: mobility, health, vision, spouse, mental acuity, and home. The losses of the aged provide a challenge to nurses who are in a position to intervene with the aged client. Nurses can influence the ancillary help in two specific ways: by educating them on the job and by being role models for ancillary workers. Keywords
