Abstract
A method for the transient analysis of lossy coupled transmission line networks with linear or nonlinear terminations is described. This method is based on an asymptotic waveform evaluation technique which offers two to three orders of magnitude speedup when compared to previously published methods with comparable accuracy. The method is useful for delay and crosstalk simulation of high-speed VLSI interconnects. Examples that illustrate the proposed approach are presented.<>Keywords
