Abstract
Thimet and Bayer 19639 applied at 10, 20, and 30 pounds per acre as a side dressing significantly decreased the numbers of cotton aphids (Aphis gossypii Glov.) for 15 months. Seed or fur-row treatments with 1 to 3 pounds per acre at time of planting significantly reduced aphid populations for one growing season. Control of green bugs on oats in rotation with cotton that had received Thimet side-dressings was indicated. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
