Mycotic Aortic Aneurysm Diagnosed by ln-111 Leukocyte Scintigraphy and Computed Tomography

Abstract
A patient with a clinically occult mycotic aneurysm [Staphylococcus aureus] was assessed by the combined use of 111IN leukocyte scintigraphy and computed tomography. While neither study was diagnostic by itself, the combined information from the 2 noninvasive modalities facilitated the correct diagnosis preoperatively.
