Abstract
A facsimile recorder developed at Teletype Corporation utilizes a squirting ink jet as the printing device. The recorder produces copy having 200 lines per inch resolution on ordinary paper at the rate of 50 pages per hour. The design features a disposable ink system which can be replaced by an operator. The technique used for generating gray tones is readily adaptable to color printing. Keywords
