Abstract
This letter makes recommendations on the use of adaptive psychophysics in binaural tasks involving the detection of interaural delays. Specifically, a logarithmic transformation of the stimulus dimension is recommended. The bases for this transform are explained. Monte Carlo simulations and data from human observers show efficient tracking of threshold. Keywords
