Abstract
In view of the rarity of similar cases in the literature, a woman is reported who had a seemingly typical episode of acute schizophrenia, recovered, and then went on to develop epilepsy secondary to temporal lobe arterio-venous malformations. After three years of epilepsy, she again appeared schizophrenic. The clinical aspects are compared with Slater's large series of patients with temporal epilepsy who subsequently developed schizophrenic-like symptoms.
