Joint Fluid Pressure in Chronic Knee Effusions

Abstract
A method for measuring pressure in chronic knee-joint effusions in supine and erect positions is described. Resting values varied from 6 to 33 mm Hg. All showed a marked increase increase with quadriceps contraction, and majority showed an increase on weight bearing.Keywords
