Abstract
Antisera to 2 proteins obtained from hereditary spherocytosis and autoimmune hemolytic anemia were employed in order to investigate whether differences exist in their immunochemical properties. Results suggest that no differences exist between the antibodies developed against the normal adult and hereditary spherocytosis S proteins but confirm the presence of specific precipitins for the auto-immune hemolytic anemia S protein. Keywords
