Abstract
Fissurisepta granulosa Jeffreys, 1882 is recorded alive from the Norwegian west coast. An examination of the soft parts confirms the opinion of Cowan (1969) that Fissurisepta ought to be given generic rank. The external morphology and the radula of Patella laterocompressa De Rayneval & Ponzi, 1854 are described. The description is based on material from western Norway and it shows that this species should be placed in the genus Lepetella Verrill, 1880. The taxonomy of this species is discussed and Cocculina clipesu Thiele, 1925 is included in the synonomy. Keywords
