Abstract
The utility of platelet-scintigraphy is shown by the example of a female with a transient hemiparesis, where neither angiography nor computer tomography could clear up the etiology of this event. Autologous platelets labeled with 111In and injected 14 days after this event could be demonstrated in the patient''s superior sinus sagittalis. In this case a particular thrombosis of the superior sinus sagittalis could be claimed as the reason of this transient hemiparesis.
