Abstract
We report a well-documented case of fatal thyroid cancer with histopathological characteristics of primary squamous carcinoma. A possible primary tumour elsewhere was excluded. The possible histogenesis of this unusual tumour and the therapy of choice are briefly discussed.Keywords
