Abstract

Cationic hydrazine and substituted hydrazine salts of the [(diene)Ru(N₂H₄)₄](BPh₄)₂ and [(C₈H₁₂)Ru(H)L₃]BPh₄(L = N₂H₄, N(CH₃)₂NH₂) have been prepared and used as precursors for the formation of a series of ruthenium(II) salts.
