Abstract
The perfluorovinyl complex trans-(Ph3P)2Pd(CF:CF2)Br is formed by treating tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)-palladium with bromotrifluorethylene. Analogous vinyl complexes trans-(Ph2PMe)2Pd(CF:CF2)X (X = Cl or Br) are obtained from (Ph2PMe)4Pd and CF2:CFX (X = Cl or Br). n-Heptafluoroiodopropane reacts with (Ph2PMe)4Pd to form trans-(Ph2PMe)2Pd(C3F7)l. n-Heptafluorobutyryl chloride reacts to form the acyl complex trans-(Ph2PMe)2Pd(COC3F7)Cl, whereas, pentafluorobenzoyl chloride affords trans-(Ph2PMe)2Pd(C6F5)Cl.Keywords
