Homocystinuria: Absence of Cystathionine in the Brain

Abstract
Cystathionine was absent in the cerebrum of a patient with homocystinuria. This supports the theory that the enzymatic defect in homocystinuria is deficiency of cystathionine synthetase.Keywords
