Coital rates and dizygotic twinning

Abstract
There is some evidence, mostly of an epidemiological nature, that coital rates may be positively associated with dizygotic twinning. It is suggested that this link is causal, in which case an explanation becomes available for some curious—and hitherto unexplained—features of dizygotic twinning rates by maternal age and legitimacy.Keywords
