Abstract
Partition functions and thermodynamic functions are calculated for one‐dimensional classical and quantal Morse and harmonic oscillators to investigate anharmonic and quantal effects. Results are shown graphically for oscillators corresponding to H2, D2, and N2; results on Br2 are described briefly.Keywords
