Abstract
Persistence of Imidan® (O,O-dimethyl S-phthalimidomethyl phosphorodithioate) and its oxygen analog Imidoxon (O,O-dimethyl S-phthalimidomethyl phosphorothioate) applied to 3 forage crops is examined. Data indicate that residues disappeared rapidly. Imidan residues on corn in 7 days were 0.09, 0.26, and 0.63 ppm; on soybeans in 15 days 0.10, 0.28, and 0.76 ppm; and on Coastal bermudagrass in 15 days 0.13, 0.36, and 0.57 ppm after spray applications of the insecticide at rates of 4, 8, and 16 oz/acre, respectively. Residues of Imidoxon after 7 days in corn and soybeans and after 15 days in Coastal bermudagrass were not detected. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
