Abstract
An experiment has been performed to measure the branching ratio in the production of and in collisions at 450 Mev at 140° in the c.m. system. The result is 2.13±0.15 which is in agreement with the prediction of a ratio 2 on the basis of charge independence alone. The production cross sections were found to be μb/sr and μb/sr.
