Abstract
The spatial and temporal coherence of the 5401 Å pulsed neon laser were measured experimentally. These measurements show that although the laser operates in a purely superradiant mode with zero feedback amplification, the output can be coherent over the entire duration of a 2 nsec pulse. Keywords
