Abstract
Cytochrome c was prepared from horse heart and purified by chromatography on Amberlite IRC-50. The product contained 0.46% of iron and 15.98% of nitrogen. The amino acid composi- tion of the protein was determined by means of starch and ion-exchange chromatography. Keywords
