Abstract
Using the nonlinear-effective-Lagrangian techniques, we obtain a nonderivative (3,3¯) term and a new quartic term for the K-decay chiral Lagrangian from the scalar-meson pole terms. These terms and the induced (8,1) terms are found to make a small contribution to the K decay. The scalar-meson contribution to the →K transition is shown to vanish in the chiral-symmetry limit.
