Abstract
The versatility of field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology has led to the use of FPGA devices in a variety of video processing applications. FPGA use ranges from the implementation of 'glue logic' to the construction of reconfigurable coprocessors, and from prototyping only to large volume production. Several systems are cited herein as representative examples of the use of FPGA devices in video processing systems, including both research projects and commercial products. Keywords
