Abstract
A 79‐year‐old white woman underwent coronary bypass graft surgery using a left internal mammary artery graft. The patient represented with chest pains 4 months later. A total occlusion of the left subclavian artery was documented with a coronary subclavian steal. The patient was treated with an axillo‐axillary Gore‐Tex graft. Pathophysiology and therapeutic options of the coronary subclavian steal are discussed.© 1993 Wlley‐Liss, IncKeywords
