Abstract
The rediscovery after 103 years of Brassica procumbens (Poir.) O. E. Schulz in Italy is the occasion to investigate further on this species. For the first time the chromosome number (2n=18!) is counted. Pollen and seed morphology are also reported. Finally its general and Italian (Island of Giglio, Tuscan Archipelago) distributions are supported by some considerations on the chorogenesis of the species.
