Abstract
Carboxylate-bearing d-transition metal bipyridyls form ternary complexes with seven-coordinate lanthanide centers. The neodymium,- ytterbium-, and erbium-containing complexes exhibit lanthanide-centered emissions sensitized by the MLCT states of the d-block components. Keywords
