Abstract
This study examined DSM-III Axes IV and V scores and their ratio among patients in different psychiatric treatment settings. Inpatients’ scores and ratios were worse than those of outpatients; longer-term inpatients’ scores and ratios were worse than those of shorter-term ones; and chronically ill state hospital inpatients’ were the worst. Keywords
