Abstract
Vapor phase pyrolysis of barbaralane (2) produced vinylcycloheptatriene (3), cis-8,9-dihydroindene (4) and allylbenzene (5). The formation of 4 was interpreted by considering 7-vinyl-1,3,5-cycloheptatriene (7) as an intermediate. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
