Abstract
An experiment is described in which the electrical resistivity of liquid cesium was measured from ambient temperature to 419°C, and experimental values are presented. In the low‐temperature region the data agree quite well with measurements made by others. A linear approximation which best correlates the data from the melting point to 419°C to ±1% is Here T is temperature in degrees centigrade. By use of the Widemann‐Franz relation, a thermal conductivity of 0.048 to 0.050 cal/sec‐deg C‐cm is predicted.
