A Method for Quantification and Description of Clinical Interactions with Aurally Handicapped Children

Abstract
A system is presented that can be reliably used to objectively describe and quantify the events of a clinician-parent-child remedial session. Scoring procedures, sequence identification, and ratio identification and calculation are described. The system can be used to provide parents and clinicians information about their interactions with the child as well as to analyze the effects of the treatment sessions on the child’s performance.
