Detection of plasmon surface polaritons on periodic silver gratings with a pyroelectric calorimeter

Abstract
Plasmon surface-polariton resonances of corrugated periodic silver surfaces are studied with a pyroelectric calorimeter. The shift of these resonances due to adsorbates and thin dielectric films is observed.
