Abstract
Penicillin applied to specific areas on the cerebral cortex produced electrical discharges, motor manifestations of seizures, increased response of the cortex to appropriate stimulation and periods of extinction. It was concluded that penicillin applied to the cerebral cortex is a convulsant.Keywords
