The effect of adding vitamin A to a rachitogenic diet

Abstract
Feeding 1 gm. of fresh carrot daily to animals on Steen-bock''s diet 2965 did not significantly affect growth-rate, whether in the absence or presence of vitamin D. No evidence was found for any correlation between severity of rickets and rate of growth.
