Microencapsulation Using Physical Methods

Abstract
It has been well established that encapsulation can be an effective means of conveniently handling toxic or noxious materials and, in many cases, of providing a controlled release mechanism. Rather than to review specific controlled release formulations, it is the purpose of this chapter to describe several processes that might be applied to the encapsulation of pesticides and to discuss their versatility and limitations with respect to possible capsule shell compositions.
