Abstract
The Thermal properties of two series of new liquid crystals were investigated by D.S.C. The results were compared with microscopic observations. We have found phenomena of cristallin polymorphism for most of the studied compounds. We have tried to isolate metastable crystalline forms. We have shown that they depend largely on the applied thermic treatment. Keywords
