Abstract
Pathogenesis, complications and symptoms in connection with isolated, occlusive changes in the central part of the subclavian artery are briefly discussed. A material consisting of 15 atherosclerotic and 3 embolic occlusions is reported on; 7 patients presented the subclavian steal syndrome. Indications for and results of operative treatment are described.Keywords
