Comment on observation of two-photon decay inn−pcapture

It is shown that nonorthogonality of $S=J=1\mathrm{}$ nucleon-nucleon wave functions is probably not a valid explanation of the disagreement between the theoretical and experimental values for the cross section for $\mathrm{np}\to d\gamma \gamma$.
