Remarks on the Surgical Treatment of the Craniosynostoses

Abstract
Technical aspects and results of a surgical procedure for craniosynostoses are exposed. Fragmentation-recomposition of the anterior part of the cranial vault in cases of brachi-, acro-, turri- and trigono-cephaly gives both an effective decompression and a satisfactory cosmetic result. Technische Eigenschaften und Ergebnisse eines chirurgischen Vorgehens für Kraniosynostosen werden besprochen. Fragmentation und Wiederherstellung des Stirnteils der Schädelkalotte in Fällen von brachio-, acro-, turri- und trigono-cephalus ergeben eine wirksame Dekompression und ein zufriedenstellendes kosmetisches Ergebnis. Remarques sur le traitement chirurgical des craniosynostoses. Les aspects techniques et les résultats d'une procedure pour le traitement des craniosynostoses sont discutés. La fragmentation – récomposition de la partie antérieure de la voute cranienne en cas de brachi-, acro-, turri-, et trigonocephalie donne une satisfaisante décompression et un bon résultat cosmetique.
