Abstract
The Structured Clinical Record, a clinical recording tool designed for social work students in field practica, is described and illustrated. This recording guide provides for systematic monitoring of case outcomes but goes beyond similar recording tools in two respects: It incorporates use of process data in the intervention process, and it is adaptable to the many theoretical frameworks and settings of social work practice. Application of the Structured Clinical Record is discussed. Keywords
