Abstract
Salts of [MO2L2]2–[M = Mo or Os; L = salicylate(-)(sal), 4- or 5-methylsalicylate(2–)] and [M2O5(sal)2]2–(M = Mo or W) were prepared and their Raman, infrared, 1H and 13C-{1H} NMR and X-ray photoelectron spectra measured. The crystal structure of [NMe4]2[MoO2(sal)2].2H2O has been determined. Vibrational, 1H and 13C-{1H} NMR spectra have also been recorded for the complexes [Pd(sal)2]2–, [Pd(Hsal)2] and [Rh2(Hsal)4(EtOH)(H2O)].EtOH.H2O.Keywords
