Abstract
CLINICAL improvement in diabetes mellitus as a result of pituitary deficiency occurs uncommonly. It resembles the Houssay phenomenon produced experimentally in dogs.1 Only 14 cases had been reported up to the year of 1955, according to a review by Harvey and de Klerk.2 Since then, several other reports have appeared in the literature.The purpose of this communication is to present 3 additional cases and to review the recent literature.Case ReportsCase 1.
