Abstract
Hg levels in the hair segment close to the scalp correlated well with fish-eating habits for residents on a small island in the south of Japanese mainlands. Hg levels changed in segmented hair samples along with the distance from the scalp. The time of sprouting of a hair segment in which the Hg level showed a peak coincided with the peak of the fish catch on the island. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
