Abstract
Three unusual conditions with regard to temp. ordinarily exist in lakes are descr. for Sodon Lake, Oakland Co., Michigan. These extraordinary conditions are as follows: (1) a measurable increase in temp. from the top to the bottom of the hypolimnion; (2) the permanent stagnation of the hypolimnion throughout the year; and (3) the prolonged existence of the upper limit of the epilimnion to within about a foot or two of the surface. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
