Abstract
Bone grafts, sterilized by ionizing radiation, show electron spin resonance which persists for at least 12 weeks when stored in a bone bank (in vitro) and for 2 weeks after implantation into the body of a dog (in vivo). The resonance seems to disappear with the ingrowth of new tissue from the host and the reorganization of the bone graft by new living host cells. Keywords
